Child Support ?

Okay, so I have some questions about child support...

I have full custody ( BD..SIGNED his rights over )...
can I still file for child support ?

& how would I go about doing this ??

I know all his info, except his address.

The judge let him sign his rights over ??

If he went through court & signed his rights over & all that jazz I don't think you can go after him for CS.

Does he have no custodial rights or no parental rights?? They are two different things...

If he signed his parental rights over you can no longer go for child support.

he never showed up for court  

he faxed a letter stating, he gives his rights up

I'd talk to a lawyer or someone at social services. I know of two people here in nc gettin child support after the baby daddies signed the rights over

I don't think you can. Washington state will not let a guy signe his rights away unless there is someone else willing to take the financial responsibility.

Then you have no right to ask for child support if he has no parental and custody rights. At all.

But I have a feeling he has parental rights just no custody rights. I would contact and attorney.

no, he doesn't have parental rights...the judge gave me temporary full custody before our actual court date...

long story short, bd was arrested at one point for endarging the welfare of an infant...

he has no rights to my daughter.....

Yea that's how it is most places, which is why I'm surprised

If he has no legal rights, you can not go after him for child support.

So the judge agreed to let him terminate all rights? If so then you can't go after him for child support, he's no longer responsible for the child in any way.
