Is this normal? Help!

posted 5th May
Okay my daughter wa discharged on friday night. I have several questions, my daughter when she was in the hospital she would have at least 2 to 4 dirty diapers. Well now that i have her home she only has 1 dirty diaper a day. Is this normal at all? And my daughter was also a good eater at the hospital, now its like she bearly wants to eat there are sometimes that she eats very good. I mean is this normal at all?! I am just wondering cause I am concerned!

When I brought my daughter home from the hospital she didn't poop for 5 days. And I told the doctor and he said that was ok.. But my daughter normally didn't go for 1-2 days for a while and that is how my son is too

my daughter used to poop 1-2x a day in the hospital, but once home it's only every other day. The doctor said that it was perfectly normal; as they get older their intestines mature and they tend to poop less and it becomes a bit more solid.

My son started doing the same thing after being home for a bit. The doctor was never concerned with it his bm's became regular after about a month or so. Feeding him was also different because he wanted to sleep a lot more when he came home but apparently that's normal for preemies to do when they come home, it happens often. No worries : )

my daughter didnt poop for 2 days when she got home, and i was worried. but her ped said not to worry unless its over 3 days for a formula fed baby, and over 5 for a breastfed baby. i hope your firsttwo weeks at home have gone well.
