How soon?

How soon after having a baby is it ok to start exercising again? I'm 5 weeks PP and want to start doing crunches to lose my tummy but I'm not sure if it's safe yet.

That's kinda what I figured. I go next Wednesday for my 6 week so I don't have to wait much longer but having this little flabby tummy is driving me insane! We have 2 weddings to go to this month and I resorted to buying one of those belly bands to wear under my dress since nothing fits around my belly. It's really starting to make me depressed. Along with all the stretch marks that I know will probably never go away.

After your 6wks appt, and i would do swimming first to begin with..then build up to it with anything else after that...
