My Doppler arrived today  

Any tips on how to find baby's heartbeat ?

I'm only 11 weeks so may still be early I guess

no tips. mine is more to the right side. down reaaalll low.

At 11 weeks you shouldnt have any issues, lie flat on your back and use lots of gel since its your first time, but it should be fairly easy to find. Start directly in the middle and work your way to the left or right.

I had to find mine at 9 weeks. That was tough lol, it got easier at about 10 and a half weeks.

lay flat on your back, use lots of gel/lube and start in the middle right where your pubic hair starts growing, work your way to the left and right.
it should be right around there somewhere.

and yet my OB wont even try for a heartbeat until the minimum 12 weeks  

Getting an ultrasound on saturday! WOOHOO!!!

Im Due 2/4... has anyone found out the sex of their baby yet? Had a quick scan on friday, doctor joked about it being a boy, but can they really tell that at 14 weeks? I go back in less than 4 weeks for my actual anatomy scan

Thanks ladies, I think I found it lol but baby was very active so it wasn't too clear but it's odd coz I found it once and it was like in the 180s/190s then I found it again and it was 140s/160s is it normal to change that much ?

My ob couldnt even find mine at 11 weeks. Did an us and baby was fibe. He said it is normal to not be able to find with doppler at 11 weeks.

My safe list said cloroseptic spray was fine. And cough drops that don't Hve eucalyptus.
