13 mo old side of face sunburnt

I couldn't get him in until later in the afternoon. His gma didn't use the stroller umbrella thing and just let him sit in the sun, letting half his face get sunburnt Saturday. I was working at the time. It's started to blister on his ear and cheek   I've been putting aloe lotion on it a few times a day. Is there anything I can do to help the blisters?? And yes, this means I do no trust her anymore!!

California Baby makes a great "after sun" product that works well.

The one on the left. It's also nice that it is a spray so you don't have to rub anything in.

Vaseline would make it worse. I wouldn't even use it for a tattoo bc it doesn't let the skin "breathe", it clogs pores. I feel so sorry for him

No Vaseline. It will keep the heat in. No oil based products at all

Use a cool cloth, aloe, water based lotion

yikes this is good to know! honestly I just went to my cabinet to see what I could suggest. I'm surprised the label says that it will help soothe burns   Just a quick google confirmed how awful it is and how it can make it worse! Thanks ladies
