i've heard some pretty outrageous ones-if you have heartburn your baby will have lots of hair was prob the best one
so any other good ones?

that you can't reach/put your arms over your head because that will cause the umbilical cord to wrap around the babies neck.... so stupid....

I don't believe that one for everybody, but it always worked for me 
Here its if you crave something and don't get it and touch yourself anywhere while thinking about it, thebaby will have a birthmark in the spot that you touched resembling the food.

Hahaha-- my friends mom used to tell us if we're going to have sex.. to have sex standing up because you can't get pregnant she said it's an old wives tale..

i never heard that one...haha watch out dont go reachin for anything~

LMAO! My grandma (my mom's MIL) told my mom that the entire time she was pregnant with me. And guess what - I was born with the cord wrapped around my neck!! My mom's MIL never let her live it down...sooo funny!

If you were standing when you concieved, it's a boy

The heart burn one proved true for me.  My daughter isn't crazy hairy, but she came out with more than most.

My grandma tried convincing me of the raising your arms one because I was trying to graba freakin towel off the top shelf in the closet. I told her that was absolutely rediculous. I think I offended her, but then I explained that its simply an old wives tale and doesn't really mean anything.

However, the heartburn thing was right with my mom. I didn't give her any heartburn and I didn't have much hair when I was born, but my sister did. She also gave my mom hella lot of heartburn, for almost 8 months straight!

That if you let the babies umbilical cord (whats left hen you come home) hit the floor when it falls off that the baby will have trouble learning how to walk.
