A friend of my friend stole one of those hooks from the hospital and had her boyfriend break her water at home because L&D kept sending her home. Some women need to be punched in the face. Not high fived.

I know some women are just too selfish. If you can't put your baby first BEFORE they get here what are they going to be like AFTER the baby is born? I've had all my babies early and would never intentionally cause them to come on their own because I'm uncomfortable. Sheesh....

I was never miserable enough to stick metal hooks up my vaj and endanger mine and my child's safety. Just sayin'.

That's really dumb. If your water breaks in the tub... how will you know your water broke. If your body isn't ready for labor, infection will set in and cause a huge risk to the baby.

My doc - the first thing I told her was that "she will come when she comes". If my body is not kicking in, there is a reason. If I get to 42 weeks, then - yes, the risk outweighs everything so- at that point I would have no problem letting htem induce. Im 39 weeks 6 days, and my body feels like its pulling apart, but - thats having a baby. You do what's good for the baby... not you. Someone should call child services or a mental institute for her.
