You're really dense, aren't you? Tay (the OP) has a really good head on her shoulders. She may have had her son at a young age, but she is making the best of a less-than-ideal situation. I'm not/wasn't a teen mom, but I think if I had a kid at seventeen, I would wait until 25ish to have a second child, assuming I was finished with my schooling.

I waited 10 years.

I wanted to be SURE I was ready for the 2nd and I wanted to actually plan it.

I had my first at 18 second at 21 and now number three will be here at 23, no more babies for me though. Just please don't be like my mom, I was the youngest until she had the twins which is all fine and dandy. Accept for the fact that they are 12 years younger than me and I always forget they're my siblings. I think of them more as neice and nephew than brother and sister. Hope this helps.

My first at 18 second at 21. We are going to ttc when both are in school full time, in 4 more years. At that point we will have two more and then done-zo

don't regret being 19 with 3. they are my life. will have my last and final probably 2 years down the road. i want my kids close.

I had a miscarriage (twins) when I was 16. I had my first baby a dd when I was 17 almost 18. I am now pregnant with number two and going to have it (hopefully a ds) when I will be 22. My dd will be 4. Originally I planned to have all my kids (I want 4) about 5 years apart so I think 4 is okay lol

I had my first at 18 my second just before I turned 24 and my 3rd at 28. I will have more kids when I feel like it. At least some time befor I am 35 lol

I had my first a month before I turned 19, second a month after I turned 23, third a month after I turned 27 and baby #4 will be here in October and I'm now 32. I love having my kids spaced 4-5 years apart because I actually got to enjoy them being little. But everyone is different and as we can see everyone has something good or bad to say. But like my dad always says opinions are like a**holes and everybody has one, so you do what's best for you. Best of Luck with whatever you decide honey!

This is how it went with me:
1st Girl- at 18
2nd Girl- at 19
3rd Girl- at 20
Now they are all potty trained, so my husband and I are pregnant with #4! I am 23 btw. I decided I wanted to have my kids young so I can run around and play with them. I won't have the energy when I'm old!

I agree! I will be TTC the end of 2013 or beginning of 2014. My oldest is 27 months and my twins are 14 months  
they would be 4 and 3 by that time

I had my son at 19 and plan on ttc after my wedding next August (I'll be 23)

I know I'm a little late in the conversation but, I had my first 2 days before my 17th birthday. I'm now 20 yrs old, married and expecting my second in January 2013  

My first wasn't planned, obviously... I was only 16 when I got pregnant. But now over 3 years later, I'm in a stable financial and emotional place ready to give Cadaan and brother or sister. Good luck
