Question for the moms who "tore" while in labor..

How long after you had to get stitches did you wait to shower for? I'm like, scared my stitches might burn or down there might burn when I wash. Any tips?

my son was born at 8pm, i got into my post delivery room at 1am and showered that night around 6. it didnt burn per say but the pain from standing up and all the sore muscles was what got me. the burn is so insignificant after the burn of crowning lol you wont even notice. you will want to be in and out so you can hold you lo !

you can shower just try not to submerge yourself in water? you are using a water squirter to wash yourself after you pee anyway right?

I didn't tear but I had a 3rd degree episiotomy and I showered as soon as they took my IV out which was about 2 hours after delivery. It didn't hurt or burn it felt absolutely amazing lol

Two days after my dd was born. I took a shower at the hospital. It didn't hurt me at all, felt great to shower. I just didn't rub down there or put soap for the first week.

As soon as I went home and at least 3x a day for a while, I felt so dirty and blah it didn't burn at all it felt good

After ? Pst I didnt tear but it still burned as soon as I let that pee out I was squirting until I was done ! Lol

Omg i know it hurts so bad... I remember crying everytime i peed... I just meant that bottle thing they gave me to use instead of toilet paper.. Like you can get them wet so might as well take a shower too..

I would use a measure cup and pour while I was peeing, it was awful
