Withdrawal bleed...

posted 2nd Jun '12
I started taking Yasmin BC pill about 2 months ago, a week before the removal of my copper IUD, I had the IUD removed and bled for 2 weeks straight then I only had 5 pills left in the pack, I carried the pack over and back 2 backed the packs. I took my last pill on Thursday of this week and we are nearly into sunday here and still nothing just loads of dishcharge, I have been on this before but I always came on pretty soon after I can't remember how long it usually takes though, now i'm getting slightly paranoid that my dh's super sperm have gone into un-authorised access area's and found any floating friends around in there to dancing with, I have got pregnant on this before due to using antibiotics just would like to know whats the average time it takes to stop taking the pill and actually have a period? x thanks x

My period would come on by the fourth day of the sugar pill. Also why did u get the iud taken out? I plan on getting paraguard after baby is born.

I had it in for about 18 months and AF was far too heavy every month, i developed bad PMS which obviously wasn't caused by the paraguard itself as there's no hormones but it became unbareable for me and my family. When I had it removed Dr. said it was infected which was probably why I mistaked the regular symptoms of uti's. My reason's aren't obviously related to every woman I know people who have had great experiences with them but personally for me and defianty the husband turning into the incrediable hulk every month wasn't an option hence why i resorted for hormonal relife

Well if u are taking the pill correctly i wouldnt worry too much. Some months i didnt even have a cycle. But definately take a test before restarting to be safe.
