dogs or cat? during pregnancy

I didn't think that animal preferences changed during pregnacy.

What way do you mean?

I prefer my cat, all he does is sit on my lap or play with a string/laser pointer. I love playing with our dogs but chasing them around and having them think they are lap dogs while I'm prego is a pain

we have cats and they are clingier than dogs have ever been while im pregnant and i cant change there litter i want a dog but we cant have more than 2 pets  

my cats are trained to potty outside. so I pick cats. dogs are a handful to me. my cat is calm and laid back

well you can change their litter. you just need to wear a mask and gloves while doing it.

i dont like running the risk lol

You actually can change their litter. If you have had cats before pregnancy for a period of time, you have already been exposed to toxoplasmosis and the risk is lower. And you can change it with gloves. The parasite takes more than a day to form, so if the litter is changed every day, there is not much of a risk.

But I preferred dogs. Not all on my lap when I am already uncomfortable and having to move every 5 min to get comfortable. lol

LOL if i EVER decide to get a cat, I'm bit in the bullet and investing in a cat genie HAHA no need to buy cat litter anymore
