Doctors appt. today...I really don't want to go :(

Ahhh.... Today I go for an ultrasound to make sure everything is back to normal in my uterus. I hate how the form says "Abortion", it's such a cruel term. I wouold have been just over 3 months this week. I remember thinking about this point in the pregnancy and how we would have been able to see my little peanut. It sucks knowing that now I'm going for that ultrasound, only to see nothing.

Thats wrong that they do that, very insensative...and abortion is something very different.

a miscarriage is medically termed "spontaneous abortion". an abortion, by definition, is not actually what people refer to as an abortion...i mean, it is, but that's a forced abortion, not a natural one. i know how it sounds, and i hated that, too. i'm really sorry for you loss and wish you good luck with everything.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I know exactly how you feel. I had a miscarriage in January. This was my first pregnancy ever and I didn't even know I was pregnant. I heard all in one hospital visit that I was pregnant and that I had lost the baby, it was horrific!! And I agree with you, seeing that word abortion really made me angry! I am now 9 weeks pregnant and scared to death everyday. I still think about my first unborn, I would be about 5 months now and would probably know the sex of that baby. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and support. The community on here is amazing. It's so great to connect with so many amazing people that I would never have had the chance to if I never registered on here!

My mom came with me today for support which was great. I cried while I was getting it done, but it was nice to have my mom there when I got out. We grabbed a coffee and I picked up a few books on m/c and loss that I thought would be good for the b/f and I to read. I also grabbed 2 on ttc so that kind of cheered me up and got me thinking for the future.

I am sorry to hear of your loss as well. I know next time around I am going to be a nervous wreck too. I pray that everything goes well these next months for you and that you get to hold your beautiful baby . How long did you wait before you concieved again?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I recently had one as well and my ob/gyn recomended that I have at least 2 menstrual cycles before we start again. I have also heard that from others as well.
