pain in my left hip

I keep getting this pain in my left hip and it makes it hard to walk or get up from laying down it ain't a constant pain just comes and goes. It started last night and is back again tonight. I'm wondering if this is part of pregnancy or what it is. I never had this problem with my first daughter.

I had something like that in my right hip..
it was the baby pinching off a nerve.. could be what's happening to you?

Every pregnancy is different. The hip pain can be caused by baby being low and moving your bones around. It can also be caused by the baby laying on a nerve and when you move a specific way, makes the pain come and go. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it's pain that you can't stand, try a cool pad/hot pad and switch them back and forth on spot that hurts. I had this pain with my 1st and 3rd. It's just the position of the baby.
