Some trucks don't have a back seat but as long as the airbags are off then it is fine.

If there's no back seat and the air bag is off, it's fine.

She will get pulled over soon enough. If there's a backseat there's no reason to have the carseat in the front.

Over here that is illegal.

The baby has to be rearward facing in an anchored carseat until they are 8kgs or 6 months old whichever comes first.

and after then they can be facing forward still in a carseat until 4 yrs old then in a booster seat until i think its 7 yrs old..
