It sounds like you have a touch of PPD. And yeah, all of your friends disappear when you have a kid. It sucks.

First off your fine. being a teen mom isnt easy!

But you need to stay strong. you evidently are doing great since your baby is alive and well. im 23 and people still critisize everything i do with my son. the way i feed him the way i clothe him the way i spoil him. if you were perfect made a ton of money someone would critisize you.

Your LO needs his mommy to be strong for him. i know there are times you feel like giving up but remember words are words and nothing more. just smile and ignore the ignorance around you.

Sounds like you might have some PPD going on hun. You should take to your doctor. As far as how your are doing it sounds like you are doing everything right to me. Worrying about being a good mom is a sign that you ARE a good mom. Things will get better just give it some time.

being a mom is hard and isolating, being a teen mom has to be 10,000 times worse. I had my son at 25 and my daughter at 27 and it was hard on me so don't think it's hard just because you're young, it's hard for all moms. Just do your best every day for your LO, that's all you can do. When you need help, reach out for it. Everyone loses their non-mom friends once they have a kid, so maybe try to find a play group to join so you can meet other moms. Also consider talking to your doctor about PPD, or going into a support service like counseling. It can be very overwhelming hang in there!

I think you are doing an amazing job!!

You're doing a great job. It's normal for people especially family to criticize you with a new baby but you seem to have it all under control so just ignore them! It's hard especially when you're young with a new baby but it does get better. I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first, had him just after turning 18. My mom constantly nagged me and tried to correct everything I did with my son, my "friends" for the most part abandoned me, and my sons dad was and still is no help. But eventually, my mom shut up, I add new friends, and now e and my SO are expecting our first child together. It'll get better, it just takes time! Maybe you can find some moms in your area on here to hang out with, it helps to have that support, good luck and keep up the good work! You're a good mom!

Thank all y'all so much.. I just needed someone to talk good about me fr a change..i already know I have PPD. I don't like my medicine so I stopped taking them not long after I got them. I have alot of friends with baby(s) that are my age but they all live far away.. Idk why I been feeling this way. I guess cause everyone puts all this in my head now.. Idk. I want to give up (on life) so bad but I keep thinking even if I am a bad mom and my baby hates me I love him to much to disappear out his life. But I hate how my life turned out. I know I can make a change and be happy but SO would leave me.. I'm lucky he's letting me go back to school:/

you really need to take the meds. ppd can sometimes lead to you hurting your baby without really knowing. because you snap. i had bad PPD with my first son and i would just cry. once on my meds i felt fine but was able to get off them around 2months post pardum

I really recommend continuing your meds or maybe asking about getting some different ones.
You're going to be fine and your son absolutely will not hate you.
Being a parent is hard. I bet being a young teen and being a mom is even harder. But you sound like you're doing a fine job. And let me tell ya, everyone has an opinion once you become a parent. Don't let it get to you too much!

You sound like a great mom to me, just keep doing what you are doing. I'm sorry you are so upset. Keep your head up, if you want you can always talk to me. I am still going to be 15 if it's born on it's due date. Cause i will be 16 just a couple days after i have the little one.(:
