Newborn photography

How old was your LO when you did newborn pictures ?

A week.

I think im going to bring my baby girl for her first pictures in about a week or two

We didn't get professional pictures of LO made until she was almost a month old. I really regret it too.  

The photographer I had said it was best and easiest to do it at 1 week old.

I bought the hospital pics, then did family pics at 3 months.

Most people do it within the first 2 weeks.

2 days old while still in the hospital.

I got the ones at the hospital, but since I'm a photographer I just did my own when she was around a week old, once all her wrinkles started to smooth out lol

I tell all my moms of the newborns i photograph that the best time is from 5-10 days, 2 weeks old at the oldest.

After 2 weeks, they become a bit more alert and not as sleepy.

2 days. She had them done in the hosptial. Then we got 10 week pictures, then 6 month pictures, then we'll get 9 month and 1 year. We just got her 6 month pictures today =)

Besides the hospital ones. We did two week ones. And will do 6 months when she gets there. : )

we didn't do any until he was a month old, he was hospitalized for 3 days when he was about 2 weeks old, and after we got home and everything it took us a wile to finally go and get the pictures done. (he was born on dec 15th, so we also had christmas and new years stuff going on)
