Boy. Because I only know boys named Carson.

I've never known a female Carson.

Ditto here to never having met a female Carson. I've always thought it was a masculine name.

Anytime you have a "son" in the name, it's masculine - it generally means the son of someone - like Jackson = Jack's son. I haven't really understood the trend to name a girl something with the name son in it, but to each his (or her) own.

I didn't know that. Smurf I've learnt a lot on BG today. Did you know that Sleeping Beauty's real name is Aurora?

Alice's son - Alice used to be a masculine name as well. Just like Ashley and Leslie. All those names were not traditionally feminine.

Okay good, lol I never heard the name except once and it was a girls name. Behindthenane.com said both also so I was a little worried. Thanks ladies! I thought it was masculine but never know these days. Lol
