I made one of those with the fringy sides for my LO out of an old shirt i used to wear when i was a waitress! the straps are a little different though : I didnt get a pic of the tank top (now its at her daddy's house) or i'd post it but heres one i made for myself with the same strap idea *ETA: from SO's shirt

okay, you can cut how i did in the photo,
and at the top of the sleeve, tie it off.
if you can, try it on your little boog 'n see what would look best, as far as cutting away more in the sleeve area. then, just make those edits

oh oops, yes   sorry,   it's one of the last little changes i make along with the sleeves.
