Couple of questions

posted 31st May '12
Would a hospital bag for a c-section be any different from that of a vaginal delivery? I mean aside from not needing laboring things like a ball and music. I'm still unsure if I'll need a scheduled c-section (pending the next ultrasound).

Also, I know it wasn't that long ago that I had a newbie but it feels like forever ago. What was a newborn essential you found useful?

Thanks ladies.

I had a scheduled c-section & I didn't use anything in my bag. I didn't care about anything but laying there with my LO. I was in the hospital for 2 days & didn't even shower

Ugh, I hate digging to find things that are stored!

Oh, and for he c-sec bag, my friend said that sports bras and nursing bras with a robe rocked cos she had nothing rubbing her incision when she covered up for visitors!

just be sure to bring extra clothes since you will be there longer with a c-section. i had my bag packed the day i went in for an appt and was told i'd need a c-section in a few hours. i was like okay i'll go ahead and check in and have SO bring my bag. i didn't realize i didn't have enough clothes. i bled all over both pairs of pjs i brought and didn't like what i had brought for LO. be SURE to bring a robe if breastfeeding..
