Public Bathrooms

I came to the conclusion on my way to my moms in tn, coming from Louisiana (7 hrs) that public bathrooms need somewhere we can strap toddlers down in a chair while we use the bathroom ..it is unbelievably hard to use the toilet while holding a baby..while I was unzipping my pants I had to hold MaKenzie and she was pratically upside down..lol then while I was using the bathroom I had her on my knee and she kept putting her feet in my panties..and o gosh trying to wipe was horrible..lol

I am laughing...only cuz I remember doing the same thing with Evan! It's not too much fun trying to go when no one is with you to help hold the baby!
Good thing we mom's are pretty resourceful and we figure it out!!

I can't use public bathrooms unless it's a big emergency. Even then I hover.
Emmy is 3, so it's getting easier to tell her to stay put.

I felt the same way driving from NC to Texas. Some bathrooms around here do have those though...on the back of the stall door a folding seat suitable for children who can sit on their own.

Ask the person who is charge to take her for a little bit.... something like "can you watch my little girl real quick i gotta take a dump"...

lol that is why i love parenting rooms here in aus you have ur change table a toilet for yourself and in the bigger fancy ones we have playpens for toddlers whilst you change bubs or use the toilet yourself!
i know how you feel though i babysat my 19 month old niece and had dakota with me as well it was hard
