Is it just me? (Ladies in interracial relationships!!)

I'm mixed (black, white, & Cuban) and my boyfriend is Mexican. I feel sooooo weird sometimes because when we're out together people always look at us weird. Do any of you ladies have this problem too?

My boyfriend is black and I am white. My son is white.
When we go out together, he tells me all the time that he notices the way people look at the three of us.
I don't notice it at all haha

My friend is white and her boyfriend is black. They have a daughter together AND she has a daughter from a previous marriage that is 100% Caucasian. I can tell you they catch crap all the time. It sucks that the world is still like this.. very intolerant.

What the. Really? I must be blind. I don't even notice these things.

My cousin is married to a black guy and she's white. A cop actually pulled them over once to ask her if she was ok. That's stupid and I feel bad for her because they are amazing 'together and its like nobody understands

Great thing about the smurf hole city I'm in, there are a lot of inter-racial couples so its not really frowned upon, unless its like super old school Hispanics or very angry black girls. I use to date this black guy, and black girls HATED me. Like I ran over their puppy or something. IMO biracial babies are soooooooo cute!

OP - we get the same looks/treatment

People usually look at us weird because most of the time, DH looks like a serial killer.

Eh depends. I don't care, SO says he sees it everywhere. I know at restaurants we are treated differently, but that is because we are young. I don't let it phase me anyway, at the end of the night he's in bed with me no matter how people feel about it.

I know it exists, but interracial relationships are so common these days (unless you live in the hills) that I couldn't imagine people gawking.

We just get looks, but not negative. A tall black chick with an Asian guy that's noticeably shorter than her. lol. I don't think I've ever seen a black girl with an Asian guy before.

My husband is White and I'm Latina...and my name is Anna and his last name is Griffin...my name is "White" as hell and when I talk I have no accent (unless I'm mad, or crying) and I have had instances when we both show up to a place (after I have talked to them on the phone) and people actually ask me twice if I am Anna Griffin and if we are really married, and then give me this look
