yeah, I tend to agree. And I do think there's an element of guilt involved as well, as you mentioned.

I was actually inspired to do so after someone posted a link to a segment of Penn and Teller's Bullshit which was on the subject of circumcision.

Well, I disagree! I disagree largly that these sick men and their theory on masturbation is the leading reason that the USA circumcises its infant boys. This country along with many other anglo-saxon, celtic, and germanic countries whose prevalent religion is Christianity, do it first for religous reasons(or sacrifice if you will). Secondly it is done in this country because we worship doctors and ANYTHING they tell us to do. As of recently they have had to give to some of the mounting pressures and educated individuals who are starting to question certain procedures, so they are changing their tune! But it was just another one of their money rackets. If they can get every boy to undergo this "surgical" procedure they can tack on another $100 to $350 tab to your hospital stay. Thus equally around a $4 million market a year.

Anyone with a brain and not the sheep-like ways of most, would read these idiots "studies", "theories" and know that masterbation is not driven by the excess skin on a dick. And would have worked hard to debunk them and their lunacy. I have NEVER read, seen, or heard this backing to masturbation or circumcisionbefore.
(in regards to males that is)

I do however know that there are cultures still today who mutilate their females for the sake of sexual indecency. To ensure they are not permiscuous, slutty, or even horny for that matter. But I do not believe these are the reasons it was performed on males(for the most part) There have been even stranger and more cruel ways of worship throughout time.

And, just to add.... any Jewish American does it to be recognized as "Gods" chosen people. Because all other men are UNCLEAN.

I did in fact reseach circumcision before I decided it was best. I personaly dont care why it "started" only why I felt it was best. Our decision was based mainly on the fact that it lowers the risk of contracting STD's and also lowers the risk of their partner's getting cervical cancer. It was not based on appearence or the ability to clean or anything like that. We felt it better in the long run for not only his health but who he might choose to be with.

IMO it doesnt matter that they "tried" to discourage masterbation because well it didnt work lol. I think masterbation is completely natural anyways and atleast its "safe" sex   Seriously, whats the worst its going to cause? Arthritis?? Its not like they can impregnant their hand or a sock so I dont know why anyone ever worried about it to begin with.

Very true. There is a tribe I believe in Nigeria? I could be wrong about the specific place. Anyways, they often "surgically" sterilize some girls around the age of 4 or 5 and others they basically circumsize them so they feel no pleasure in sexual contact to make them less likely to cheat on their spouse once married. Its not really "surgery" unless you consider having their arms and legs tied together and a stick in their mouths to bite on while they get cut on by a sharp rock surgery. They had a documentary on National Geography about it a while back and all it made me want to do was cry.
