Yeah, My BIL said they will probably put him in solitary confinment (sp?) for his own safety because if they dont and someone tries to kill him he could put attempted murder charges against the prison.. But if thats the case he'll be in ONE tiny room ALONE for the rest of his life.

They might and might not. They might put him in general population to see how it works out first. And when they're in protective custody in jail, they're in a tiny room for 23 hrs a day in most places. Which would drive a man insane.

I went to school with Micah and his sister. His sister was actually in my class. I'm not here to defend him. I can't defend him. I don't know the full story, but from what I've read all signs show he is guilty. When I first found out about what happened, it shocked me. Out of all the people that went to our school, he was the one that I would least expect. 1. Because of his family and the way he was raised. 2. He has his own little girl and 3. He's in the military. How can someone who has their own child harm a poor defenseless baby. I can't wrap my head around it. All I know is a poor defenseless beautiful little angel went home way too soon because of him. I don't care how frustrated you get with a baby, it is no reason to shake one. When I first found out about it my own baby had just turned 2 or 3 weeks old. I can't imagine losing her. I feel for Samantha. I can't imagine the pain she's going through. I didn't even know anything about the anal penetration until reading this article. It makes me sick to my stomach. To know I actually knew someone that would do this. A couple of years ago I recall talking to him and he was lonely. And a little clingy. The Micah I knew would have never done this. But people can change. I hope he gets what he deserves, and I hope Samantha gets the comfort she needs knowing he's going to be locked behind bars. It won't bring Aubrey back but at least he's behind bars where he can't harm another baby. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.

Yeah its horrible. Samantha is having a really hard time dealing with this. I really hope that he gets what he deserves in there. That poor innocent baby got tortured to death. When I saw he had his own daughter i was shocked he would do something like this, i mean how would he feel if someone did that to his daughter? No matter how irritated you get with a baby i couldnt imagine someone doing that. Put the baby in the crib and walk away dont torture her though. When it first happened alls i heard was he shook her which is still horrible but then a mutual friend told me about the other stuff he did to her and it made me sick.

I actually went to high school with this guy been to his house hung out with him. So did many of my friends. All of us here in MO are just completely disgusted with it. All our hearts go out to the mother. I for one hope he does get stabbed several times in prison. Most of us here do.

This is horrible and sad. I would never leave my baby alone wiith someone who isn't her father. Not judging the mother but with me it's because my daughter is really finicky has to have everything done a certain way. She likes to be held certain ways and calmed down certain ways and if you don't do it her way she just cries and cries and cries. Even for me as her mother it can be frustrating when i'm sleep deprived, so I would never leave her alone with a man who doesn't know how to handle her. I've never even left her alone with SO bc he isn't her dad and right now he lives out of state and when he comes to visit I take care of her and spend time cuddling with him and talking to him while she is sleeping or playing, I don't make him take care of her or expect him to watch her. I just can't imagine coming home to find out someone you trusted did such a horrible thing to your child.
