We actually just bought one today, it's the evenflo comfort select duo. I don't know how good it works, yet but I put it on my hubby's nipple (yes I'll sanitize before using it for baby) and I asked if he thought that would get milk out he said "oh yeah". It was only $50, but if you can afford it they say medela is the best.

I used the hodpital grade Madela double pump and LOVED it. I purchsed the madella Swing for $150 but I could not use it because my daughter was hospitalized for so long that I dried up. If you are interested in buying mine PM me. I will sell it for $60.

I'm not a picky pumper. Mine was the Evenflo single electric pump, and this time will be the Evenflo single electric pump. Did the job last time--pretty positive will do the job again. :]

I love mine too! I've been pumping for 8 months now...only 3 more weeks to go and I'll be done with work for the summer and weaning to morning and night feedings only! YAY!

What you get depends on your needs though. Are you going to NEED an electric pump ie, you are working?

If you plan to pump ALOT then you want a double pump. Like if you are going back to work and want to pump there they are much quicker or if your baby will be excisevly bottle fed then you want a douple. If you plan to pump sometimes or a little a day the a single will work fine. Singles take longer.

i go back to tomorrow.   i've been pumping for less than 5 mins and already have 3 oz out of 1 side!!!! I bought my pum in 04 to use for my son but ended up staying home w/him. the pump has been sitting in our garage for 2 years and still works beautifly!

I bought a Lansinoh double pump... I tryed it out once and it definetly works! I read alot of reviews online before deciding which to purchase and the Lansinoh was a much cheaper version of the expensive Medela. So far so good! I've also heard tht the playtex one sucks tho! Suppossedly it leaks really bad.

Ya my daughter is 3 months and I went back to work after 8 weeks and I am about to quit too. I just cant stand to be away from her anymore. I miss too much stuff. If I were you and could afford it I would stay home as long as possible. Things will be very tight for us but I think we can do it.

also check with your insurance. Many insurance carriers will pay part or all of the cost of a pump due to the health benefits of breastfeeding.
