It sounds good to me if you can work it that way. The only thing that sounds unequal is the father being solely responsible for transportation.

Quoting Mr & Mrs + 3:" Does this sound like a decent plan? What would you add or take away from it? 1. Both parties share and ... [snip!] ... appointments, family activities, and other family responsibilities should be taken into consideration when planing each month."

only thing i don't see as be considered "shared" is it says the father has to pick up and drop off each time, if it's shared should the father pick up when it's his parenting time, and the mother pick up when it's her parenting time? but hey if he agree's to it go for it! i wish my ex would do that lol it'd save me lots for gas. only other thing i know my ex wouldn't have agreed to is sharing daycare/baby sitter costs, we just each pay for our own. bc what if he needs more child care then you do so your paying more then you'd need to.

I don't get why everything else is 50/50 but the father is responsible for all transportation??

The only reason i added that is because as of right now he is anyways unless we agree otherwise. So there isn't any reason to change it. He has transportation for sure 100% and i don't. We only live like 7 minutes from each other.

I would add "Neither parent may take the child out of state without the other's granted permission" or something to that effect.

I am not aware of the situation or age of said child or children, but in my co parenting class they told us splitting time equal can cause the child to not have their place of security since they are constantly going back and forth and never get a chance to settle. They did say some older children could deal fine but that parents should be selfless and not blind to what the child may prefer.

why is dad responsible for all transportation? I think the parent wanting to see the child should pick up the child. ie... dad picks up from mom, mom picks up from dad.

ohh ok i see, well if he's willing to do it go for it! me and my ex live 30 mins from each other so i'd love it if mine would do that lol

She is 2. She already spends every other weekend with him and every tuesday with him. Plus whenever he asks to keep her extra i allow it. so i don;t think it will be hard on her, she does ok with the transition.

that may be sometimes, but in my specific experience this is not true. We have my stepsons thursday morning thru sunday night every week. They have their own rooms here and the same with their mom, who they see sunday night thru thursday morning. It has been that way since they were 6 and 3, they're currently 14 and 10.

Oh, okay. Well good for her then. My daughter did horrible with even 3hr visits every other day. Luckily bd gave up all physical rights and just asks if he wants to see lo, which is rare. Sounds like you have a nice bd who wants to be involved.
