Quoting triple threat ♡.:" <blockquote><b>Quoting ×ø×K·ßear×ø×:</b>" im surprised they didnt take out his tonsils ... [snip!] ... wanting to hold off until he's a little older because his age.. but I hear of kids around that age getting their tonsils out.."
My cousin got his taken out at 4 or 5 and was up playing around when he got home.
I also got mine taken out when I was 16. WORST ever! They forced me to eat a popsicle before I left (they didn't tell me, but it was so I could throw up before I left
) I couldn't eat for a week and a half, cried whenever I had to swallow spit, and lived on the couch for 2 weeks. When I thought I was feeling better, I went to take a shower and came seconds away from passing out.
Worst experience ever!!! Lol.
I hear all of the time that the younger, the better.
Like a momma said up top, just tell LO that they are doing surgery to make him feel all better. If he's having issues swallowing, which I'd imagine he is
let him know he'll never have that same problem after the doctors fix him up.
That's just guessing at what you should say though, I don't have kids yet. Lol.
