Second Thoughts .. urgh

Sooo 5 weeks ago we named our daughter Elena.. ( she isnt born yet tho ) now im having second thoughts , i suddenly feel like thats not " the one " i named her that just because it was the most decent name my boyfriend & i could come up with..
has this happened to anyone else? am i just over thinking the situation?

not over thinking just making sure the name is EXACTLY what you want and makes you comfortable and her happy with it once she is older!

I would wait until the baby is born to see if Elena would "fit" her. If not, you can always go with a different name.

And no, you aren't overthinking the situation. Naming bay bayz is sum seriouz bizness. ;)

Having the same issue. DH is stuck on the name we pick, as is everyone else. And he thinks the name I'm considering is dumb  

If you don't love it or don't think it's "the" name, keep looking.

I gave my daughter a completely different name at 32 weeks then the name I had picked since before I got pregnant! She just was not an Evelyn! If it doesn't feel right to you then change it. My friend had the name lily picked out and when her daughter was born changed it to taylor cause she was just not a lily. Do whatever feels right to you.. Because the name you give her is her name for life.

My husband and I have 3 names picked out for when our son is born and we're going to narrow it down after we see him.

I personally love Elena, but if your not feeling like it's the one, keep looking! Don't settle and then have regrets later.
