Not sooo rich icing reicpe help!

I'm making cupcakes for my soon to be 2 year olds b-day party. I hate really rich icing though, any good recipes that aren't so sweet?? I'm making pooh beehive cupcakes if that matters, I have no idea lol

do cool whip icing! It's sooooo smurfing good.

1 package instant vanilla pudding
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cold milk
8 ounces Cool Whip -- Thawed

Mix pudding, milk and powdered sugar with mixer for 1 minute until creamy. Fold in cool whip. Spread on cake.

Cool whip all the way - the recipe one momma wrote - and to add some zing - add peanut butter...holy smurf is it good...mmmm

Do you think it will be thick enough to make the beehive thing on top? Her party is at the end of June, I just want to make sure it will hold some sort of shape...and btw it sounds soooooooooooooooo yummmy!
