afraid for my boyfriend

well yesturday he noticed a lump in his scrotum
he doesnt know what it is yet. But the lump went away
not theres just like a huge ammount of swelling. and he
couldnt sleep at all last night and its really hard for him to
walk because it hurts him. Im scared that theres something
seriously wrong but he keeps saying im okay ill be fine..
And he doesnt have health insurance. and no money to pay
for a hospital bill. Im really scared. = [

I would tell him to go to ER ASAP. It could be nothing serious but could also be testicular cancer. Good luck

You could try going on Webmd.com and putting in his symtoms to see wha it might be. I know what it could be but I can;t remember the name of it for anything at the moment. But it's something that has to surgically removed.
He can go to the doctors without medical insurance and make payment arrangments with the doctors office to pay the bill. I mean, what's more important? Having a medical bill or having his health?

my dad had a cyst in his u know where....he said it hurt like hell but it was removed....and cysts usually go away and come back when they get flared up....but def go to the doc anyways i was just tryin to make u not stress so much  

At first i thought it could be Testircular [sp] cancer then a hernia
and now he thinks it maybe a sist. or maybe just a pulled muscle in there
me and him are both very young and my mom has temporary guardian ship
of him and im gunna see if maybe she can sign up for medicaid for him
because i want to get him seen. He promised me if it doesnt go away within
3 days he'll go to the E.R.. I really hope its just a pulled muscle i mean i
dont want it to be anything at all but if it has to be anything i rather that
be it.

he can get seen at any er, as long as its a county hosptial or like a church hosptial, they mail youa bill a few times and eventaully stop....when i was 18 i found out i had a $600 bladder infection...i paid about 125....and that was it...

if your mother has guardianship, why isnt his family paying her support or keeping his medical insurance up to parr?

Hernia...that's what I was talking about. But if the lmp went away, then it's probably not that. A pulled muscle down there is painful so that's a good guess as to what it could be.

Probably just pulled the groin muscle. My hubby did that and had to have surgery down there. And don't tell him I told you this but, now one ball is higher than the other, lol. Sorry. I know it's way too much info.  

My brother had the same thing at 23 years of age, he thought he had a hernia, turned out to be testicular cancer. He had went to the ER because he also did not have insurance, they removed one testical and then he had to go through chemo. I would tell him to go to the E.R. , it could be something little but you never know. The type of cancer my brother had was a very agressive form. Good Luck
