I need help.

Ok so I cant tell you the last time i sat down and read a book...i seriously dont think i even read the ones that we had to read in high school....but lately for some reason ive wanted to start reading to help pass the time while my husband is at work and the kids are sleeping or any other free time...so i read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy, i finished it in 24 hours...no joke, so the next day I went and got Baby Laughs, finished that one in a day and half, so then I read her last book Life Laughs....she is an amazing author....

so here is my problem, since im new to this whole reading books thing i dont have a fav. author or really even know of any good authors, i want to keep reading but have no clue where to start looking....i enjoy true life books....books that i can relate too....im not a huge romance novel fan....i can handle a muder mystery i guess...but i really love Jenny's books and they way they are written...i cant tell you how many times i actually laughed out loud while reading them....so if any of you ladies out there have any suggestions on really good books or authors PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!! thanks!!!!

James Patterson's books the Lake House and Cradle and All are both pretty good books.
If you like true crime books anything by Ann Rule is great.

I really like biographies...maybe you could look up a few of your favorite people and see if they have biographies?
