Question about Cervical Mucus (:

FUN TOPIC HUH!?! LoL. I'm just curious, how long before ovulating do you usually start getting a lot of cervical mucus. I'm supposed to O on the 12th (according to mymonthlycycle.com and fertilityfriend.com) and i just started getting shooting pains in my lower abdomin and the CM has started to get for egg whitish. should we start BD like every night for the next week. do u thik i might o earlier? This topic is so TMI sorry (:

Everyone is different in their cycles, you could well be ovulating early. I don't see the harm in trying  

nah, i dont think much is tmi in ttc forum LOL. If you have any ewcm or fertile cm at all i would say BD every day just so you dont miss O (unless your man has any sperm issues, in which case every other day). I think your own cm and other signs are much more reliable than what a website can tell you! Im on CD16 and still no sign of EWCM  

my hubby and I used one of the online counters and ovulation trackers when we first started trying to conceive. Up until that point we'd been so concentrated on NOT getting pregnant that we almost thougth that not preventing pregnancy would automatically leatd to one at this point, so we hadnt done a lot of research on trying to conceive. So I had no idea about the mucous thing until we'd been trying for a few months. The month I found out about it I started paying attention. That month, my hubby and I used that instead of just relying on a date on a calendar and POOF we were pregnant! My ovulation "date" was most likely off by several days, so going with what my body was telling me was so much more useful than the date on the damn calendar!

according to yourdays.com and another online calendar i had when i was ttc, i should not have beein o'ing when i thought i was. it was ten days early and i started to get the strange cramp pains and had hard core egg white cm...plus i was totally in the mood...on a whim i took one of the opk test strips just to check and sure enough for the first time EVER i had a darker test line than control line. told my husband what was in store for him that night...and bam, 36weeks later here i am...good luck, happy baby dancing! don't forget to have fun...that was one of the nights i remembered - so does my husband
