Time to see a Gyno/Doctor?

I came off BC in November.... and had a normal 35 day cycle. But then last month, I had a 48-day cycle and now, I'm on day 47 for this cycle....
I'm wondering if its time to see someone about it? Any advice? Or anyone else had something like this go on?

are you on any fertility meds?

I would go in and have it checked. It could be nothing, but it could also be a sign of something wrong like PCOS. it's been 161 days since my last AF and I just found out I have PCOS and Endo. Best of luck to ya!

My cycles are doing the same thing lately. Started out as a normal 30 day cycle, then went to a 27 day cycle, 35 day cycle, 41 day cycle and this month it is a 44 day cycle... I made an appointment with my Gyno for the 19th of May. They say that if your cycle chances abruptly (which is what I think is going on with me), to make an appointment. I'm having a similar problem. Except I wasn't on birthcontrol I am WAYYY out of whack.

I was planning on it. But since I have to get a blood pt test before I can..... I'm going to get it this week, along with my throid blood tests done.
What is PCOS?

Oh wow! Mine was (on BC) either 28 or 32. Never any different.
Just today I wrote down everything since Sept to see what has been going on. As soon as I do my blood tests, I'll make an appt. Let me know how yours goes.

it causes cysts on the ovaries and other problems and can make it where you don't ovulate, or don't ovulate often. Here's a list of symptoms of it.

I had irratic cycles for over a year! I finally got a doctor who actually gives a hoot and he set me up with an OBGYN. He said that it's a good idea because they know what to look for and it's good to have started a relationship with one if we're TTC!

I am actually in that almost exact same boat..had an irregular preiod and was on BC til Dec. My cycle was then 34 days, 46 days and 46 days (still on it now). I have seen a doc and she said to check my basal temp every morning for 3 months and if not preg by then she was going to try me on some fertility drugs. I have seen a previous doc and it doesn't show I have anything wrong with me. so who knows what it could be. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Sounds like mine.... I thought about checking my bbt; but wasn't sure about it.
Did your doc tell you any info on what it might be?

I do keep track of my BBT and I will say, that I have noticed that my cycles are not normal. I dont know if you ladies will find out u have the same problem, but I have noticed that once my body temp says I have ovulated, I get my period 6-8 days later... which is quite a bit shorter than it is supposed to be (14 days). My temps just dont stay high after I ovulate like they should. Hopefully we will all find out what the culprit is soon!! Good Luck!
