Jeremiah is here

Jeremiah Washington Summers was born May 3rd at 3:15 pm.. 6 pounds 6 ounces 18.75 inches! I was induced Saturday morning at 6:30 am.. i labored for about 8 hours and pushed for maybe an hour! The epidural didn't take, so i had to do 3 intrafecal(sp) shots.. which wore off super fast. I was not numb at all when i was pushing and felt everything! I didn't see Jeremiah for the first half hour to hour of his life because he was having a bit of trouble breathing and they wouldn't let me go to the nursery.. He is perfectly fine now and just needed a little help getting started. I am still at the hospital and the Pedi said it was ok for him to go home today after the 24 hours is up! So lets hope my Ob gives me the ok. I will be having the gall bladder surgery within the next 2 weeks asap.
