super depressed

im 16 wont be 17 until after or right around the time my baby's born. my boyfriends super supportive but all i think about is what we're not gonna be able to do. we both had drug problems and were sober now but i dont have a job yet and he doesnt even make 9 dollars an hour. i still have 2 years of highschool left. my boyfriend graduated but if hes either at work or college ill the time ill have nooo help cause my moms letting us live here but she says she wont help out as far as waking up or baby sitting and i understand that but i need help. i will not have an abortion and if i have to give him/her up for adoption ill probably go to a mental house but i dont know what to do. i dont know what im hoping somebody will tell me but i need to let this out

Look into homeschooling, or childcare assistance. Good luck.

If you want to do it, then you'll find a way to make it work. Waking up with the baby is not the hardest thing in the world and you will be able to adjust to it. I found I can function on almost no sleep. lol Look into resources that you may have in your area.

depending on where you live you can actually get childcare assistance because your still in HS. you should definitely look into it. It wont be much but it will help you have a place for the baby to go during day hours. Its definitely not easy but IT CAN be done. Just know theres alot of sacrifices that need to be made to raise a child. Good luck

Thank you. I don't mean to sound irresponsible and whiny about the whole thing im just really scared and worried and i want to make sure the baby has a good life. just needed to vent cause i need someone besides my boyfriend sometimes.

It would be strange to me if you didn't have any worries. You don't sound irresponsible to me.

Your mom is letting you live there..thats awesome.. what do you need help with? My husband and i are living with my dad atm (we are house hunting and its taking FOREVER) We have a 7 month old. the only help i get is from my husband when he's not at work. Which is the same situation for m,ost families. Your the baby's mom..you will learn to take care of the baby yourself..i still havent let anyone babysit my son. too nervous.
Having a baby is NOT easy. But it's rewarding. And since your a teen..you will be giving up alot. but it will all be worth it. Just keep on trucking along..you'll be okay. Just make sure you talk to someone if you need to..because its going to get harder before it gets any easier
