i heard smaller women labor for less time
which im happy about lol as im a small person too, i was 96lbs before i got pregnant lol this is the only time in my life ive ever been over 100lbs.

im due july 18, and absolutely terrified. i think its mainly because people keep asking me if im going to be able to do a vaginal birth since im so small, if he gets to a certain size i'll need a c-section. i know it's unlikely but with all the people randomly coming up and asking and acting concerned its freaking me out lol. but like other people said your body prepares itself and everything, ive been feeling my hips separating recently which is super painful but i know im just getting ready

Sorry i'm late but yeah a lot of people keep asking me will I be able to push vaginally and that's what's making me more nervous of getting a c-section. Btw how far along are you?

My DIL is a teeny tiny girl and was scared smurfless she would have to have a c-section. Her doc kept telling her she would be lucky to have a 5lb baby and a vaginal birth. She did have a vaginal birth and delivered a 7 pounder. Try not to stress too much. You can do it

im 34 weeks, due july 18th.
i was watching 16 and pregnant the other day (which my boyfriend has now banned me from watching because i kept getting freaked out lol) and the girl was in labor for 16 hours and only dilated 1cm, they wouldnt give her an epidural until 3-4cm and she was in so much pain she was literally screaming constantly, and they ended up having to do an emergency c-section because the baby was too big to deliver vaginally. freaked me the hell out, im getting more and more terrified the closer i get to my due date lol.

one of my friends had to be induced because the baby was growing so fast that they were afraid he'd be too big to deliver vaginally if they waited so they induced her a few days before her due date. thankfully i havent heard anything from my dr about anything like that, she says the baby is a good size and everything is fine so until they have concerns im trying to be as relaxed as possible lol.

dont worry lots of people asked if i was having twins because i looked so big others were amazed that i was so small when people say you look big just ignore it also get an exercise ball sit and bounce on it and roll your hips plus you can use it when you go into labor it helps so much with the pain i was in labor for 16hrs and didnt get an epidural until i was 8 hours into it good luck and dont worry about what others say!

Do keagals... Not only do they help you keep your muscles tight and heal faster after delivery, it helps you push better. Thats what both of my doctors told me for both of my pregnancies. and dont worry, if you have a long labor it doesnt mean you wont be able to give birth vaginally. I went into labor at 9am on 5-12, had my baby at 930am on 5-14... she was 6weeks early so she was small but I went from a 5/6 to baby born (no medications) in less than 30min. If you want an epidural get it as soon as you can (most of the time it is 4cm) in my opinion.. I went fast with both babies though. Natural childbirth was scary for me, but I was early, had been on bedrest and trying to stop labor for 2 days, had been transported to another hospital by ambulance, the meds they were using to stop labor were giving me chest pains and other problems, and my nurse was in a delivery so noone would check me.... Make sure they listen to you, if you feel that you need to push make them check you (if you are passed 5cm already). Dont be scared, your body will do what it needs to... Just keep walking and do your keagals!!
