re: Getting pregnant after abortion

I must say that we have been lucky. Had a surgical abortion in March 2012 (complicated story there) and has recently found out that we are pregnant again.

I just want to thank this forum for existing. I had an abortion June 2010 and to this day... cry and miss my little angel baby. I was stressed, overwhelmed, with my boyfriend of only six months (now we are not even together) and felt so much pressure to have one. This forum has made it clear that LIFE does indeed FORGIVE, for it the divine Mother grants us women the power to conceive as little as one month after an abortion. I find that fascinating. My own mother had two abortions in between my two older sisters. I wonder if she NEVER had done that.... would I still be born?

I fell pregnant 4 months after my abortion. We weren't trying but we were being careless with protection not using it correctly on my part due to low self-esteem and abortion regrets (i don;t know what his excuse was!)

If you don't mind me asking.. How many weeks were you before the abortion?

i was 11 weeks and 1 day x

no, I had a 2nd abortion yesterday at 9 weeks 2 days  

so far its not as hard as last time but I'm still so sad, and I am dosed up on valium so that might be why I'm not finding it so hard...

I can't wait to TTC but won't be until 2015 or 2016! x

You did what was best pixie. EVERY decision we make is divine.... all is well... <3 keeo moving forward and don't look back. be strrong.... my mother had two abortions... and if she would have NOT done that.. there is a BIG chance my sister and me would NOT have been born at the timing we were delivered.. all is well.
