This just isn't the place for that kinda thing.

The link isnt working for me, but its not scientifically possible. We lost our first who was older than that, and our second around that time. The lungs are far too under developed at that stage, they dont even have alveoli so there is nothing to even ventilate, not even with a high frequency oscillator. My son was 1lb 7 at his lightest, and i know other moms of 23 weekers who've made it home. I think the earliest ive read/spoken to was 22w 6d. How long did it say the baby was in hospital?

Ugh I decided against looking at the pics... I saw the very very top of the head and I am just not interested in seeing that!! ahh

I cant imagine loosing my baby so I am not one to judge what they did. It has to hurt really bad.

NO the baby was born dead. They took the baby home with them.

The baby had died moments before birth.. but they chose to take it home for a while and get pictures and let their children see her before they did away with the body.

ok, i get it now! i thought they were saying their baby survived and came home as in came home to live!!

i guess she was kinda lucky to get to do that, it must be theraputic in some way. But im not sure what detrimental effect that would have had on her young kids though :S

I could see taking it home to have it buried, but to introduce your children?? That seems kind of emotionally scaring to me...

ok i got to it...umm that is a bit weird but i dont agree with the people that are making comments on that website saying it looks like a gummi bear, and ewwww its hands are in different places so it moved..i think thats rude

To each their own, I mean I wouldn't do it, especially introduce it to my other children, but those comments were downright rude....not even rude, they were horrible. Some peopke are just really fucked up. 'scuse the language
