Birth Control after baby

I'm due in 6 weeks, and my doctor has starting asking me what I am going to do for BC... I had Mirena for a year and a half after my first daughter was born,(08/09-04/11) and it made me crazy. I'm amazed my husband still married me during that time, lol. Other than that, I had no problems with it until it started coming out on it's own, and then I had cysts, my period was never on time, and it about killed me when I ovulated. Doctor put me on Nuva Ring in October and my husband thought I was crazy again, then the next month I found out I was pregnant.
I want something that won't make me nuts or gain much weight. Anyone heard of a good one?

Were you using it correctly when you got pregnant?

My son is 11 weeks and I only using condoms. I didn't feel like dealing with any birth control

I think so. My doctor explained to me how to use it, and I followed her directions exactly, because we were TTC in the months before, but decided to stop so we could spend more time with our daughter before having another one. My cycle was insane though. I could tell when I ovulated because of the pains I got monthly, but I spotted constantly. :/ She just told me to take it out whenever my period usually was, but it was all over the place...

You are suppose to take it out every 3 weeks and leave it out for a week.

I have heard a lot of people getting pregnant on Nuva Ring, it kinda freaks me out lol

A friend from high school got pregnant on it, but I was okay with trying it anyway.
It's funny, when we were TTC, we'd have sex 5 times a week, and in October, we did it TWICE the whole freaking month, and
Boom.
Pregnant.
It's cool though. (: I'm thrilled. I just don't want another one right after this one, so I'm defintely NOT using Nuva Ring again. Lol
