Dancing tummies

posted 3rd May
For the past four weeks or so, you've been able to see Sebastien kicking. My entire stomach will be rolling and heaving. Every day it's more obvious, and now it's become some sort of wierd entertainment for the people I work with to watch my dancing belly. He kicks so hard it hurts sometimes. Persephone (my daughter) never kicked this much! I could only see her move a few times, even when I could feel it, but with Sebastien I can see almost every kick! Even the little ones! I'm worried he's just going to tear his way out through the front like in 'Alien'! He's extremely acrobatic and it makes me jump when he catches me off guard. My mother in law thinks he'll come at the end of this month instead of next. Her doctor apparantly told her that a baby's 'due date' is five months after quickening, which for me was in mid January! I want him to be born healthy and strong, but DAMN! If he gets any stronger I think I'll explode! Has anyone heard any theories about how long you have to go after quickening? Or has anyone had extremely hyperactive babies that were born early? Is it any sign that he'll be ready before we're expecting him to be?

My little one is very active as well. I love sitting there and watch my belly move from side to side or do a roll. You can see a elbow or knee go across my belly.. its a trip! My boyfriend said it feels like an alien too haha and sometimes she'll be bunched up on one side and my whole belly looks lop sided. Oh especially after I eat, i have no problem with countiing kicks or movements. I haven't heard anything about being born early or quickening.

My belly button is about an inch and a half off center. I'm all out of whack.
