re: 3rd Birthday

Rained the last 2 days here as well. There's only so much to do inside. Today we just watched a movie together and built a fort outta the couch cushions. But I know he wants to be outside running around. Hopefully it clears up tomorrow. I think he needs some fresh air.

hahaI thought I was the only one who does that with couch cushions. It's fun though. Tomorrow it's suppose to be sunny and 66, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. The fresh air is so good for them. So lets hope the weather holds up.

It's supposed to be crappy in the morning but clear up in the afternoon but we aren't reaching the 60's I don't think. I take all that back, just looked at the weather for tomorrow, Rain and 54* Ugh! -- Your kids are GORGEOUS!

I'm sure tomorrow will be the same as today. My oldest wanted to go outside all day today and play baseball. I felt so bad the stupid rain on and off sucks. Thanks, my 21 month old still doesn't say a whole lot, he would rather whine then speak. Your son is adorable too! I love his name.

my son's bday is always easy. he was born on halloween. if all else fails we take him trick or treating and buy a small cake. good luck !

I went to a party this past year that was a pirate theme! It was so cute. They decorated foam swords with stick on jewels, wore pirate hats and had a treasure hunt! The treasure hunt was adorable. They made maps of the property and the parents and kids ran all over theyard looking for the treasure that was in a little chest and full of ring pops and chocolate coins.

Ya know I NEVER thought about that and thats a damn good idea! Haha

I think at that age they all whine. We used to ignore Colin every time he whined about something. He knew whining didn't mean getting and eventually it stopped. Of course he still whines like your typical kid but he won't get his way doing it. Haha

Mcdonalds does parties too and they are really cheap. We did our daughters 3rd b-day there and it cost about 80 dollars and that includes a cake and goodie bags.

For my son's 3rd birthday I did a car's theme party, it ended up being only family that came but it was nice that way. I did the decorations while he was gone and his face just lite up when he got home. My mom also baked a cake that I decorated with a car's theme

It was simple but my son loved it.

VERY cute theme! We are having 2 separate parties. One with his little friends, there's about 12-15 of them, and the 2nd my Mom is having at her house with all the family and stuff like that.

if he has some little friends throw a party, my son had one at crazy kids (an indoor play area) it was great!!
