I only lost about 2 1/2 before I turned it off... funny how people inthe USforget that the Native Americans and Mexicans were actually in this country LONG before the "ENGLISH speaking people" yet they felt entitled to everything they touched and anyone who stood in their way needed to be corrected somehow... and those same views still continue today

Have you been to another country? In Mexico, most of Central America, and many parts of Europe (at least these are the other countries I've visited), they DO bend over backwards to accommodate the English language. I've visited teeny tiny little villiages in Germany and post war Poland, and they ALL spoke English, plus all of the signs were in German/English as well. I'd have to say that's pretty much bending over backwards.

Just a side note - Why limit yourself on the languages you understand by saying we should ONLY speak English because we're Americans? Why not further yourself and learn another language, just for the sake of learning something new? How could that hurt you? I just don't get it that people have such a huge problem with this! Its so silly to me!

People just love to complain. They have to have something to complain about, it just makes their life complete. I have chosen to ignore these ignorant people who always complain about illegal immigrants. All you who hate illegal immigrants guess what? They are not leaving. As a matter of fact more and more are coming in and your complaints get nothing. I pity you who talk bad about ppl who come to this country to survive or to better their lives. You're just ignorant and cant see past whats infront of you. Not everyone has security and unless you have seen first hand the conditions in other countries you have no idea what you're talking about.
A&A's mom~you are a cold hearted person. That lady lost her baby and her husband wasnt treated like a human, he deserved more time with his baby that he just lost. That is wrong and very hatefull. You dont do that to anyone.

What about those that come here to smuggle drugs and steal? I know its hard for you "non-cold hearted" (I only say that b/c I have been called cold hearted for wanting to deport them) people to realize, but not everybody that comes here illegally is here to do good.

Edited to add: I wish there was a way to throw out all the crappy and ungrateful Americans, and replace them with people who would actually appreciate what we have here.

Like I said, " ppl who come to this country to survive or to better their lives". Illegal immigrants who come here and smuggle drugs or commit crimes need to be punished ofc. Its either to let all the ilegal immigrants come over here and stay, or don't let any of them, you can't let *some* people commit felonies, but not others. There are better ways to help your family, work Visas, asking the government for help, etc.

I think that we should deport all of those people who come here to make gangs and sell drugs and drive drunkand steal and rape and murder and commit REAL crimes, because they are giving all immigrants that perception in the mainstream, that it is all that they do. We need to remove the perception that immigrants come here to do bad things, but the problem is that there are a lot of them that do. The stupidities of a few ruin it for 21 million people.

Separate the sheep from the goats. Stop raiding factories and cleaning crews, separating families and sending hard-working people back to a life of abject poverty. Insteadwork with the police departments and find out who has the criminal records. Stop spending my taxpayer dollars feeding, clothing and sheltering people without residency in our prisons. Send them home instead.Put immigration time and effort and money into weeding those out thatcause real problems and leave the ones be who live peacefully and do nothing more than work, pay taxes and raise family just like you and me. Or better yet, make them legal and end that problem altogether.

Do you know the process? Do you know how hard the govt has made it to get a visa? There are times when these ppl need to get out right away, Im talking life or death, and they cant have the luxury of waiting.

I admit it, I'm guilty of grouping them all into the "bad people" categories. I try not to, but it happens sometimes. Especially after my own personal experiences.

Nope. Sure don't. I've never ever had anybody close to me had to go through the process. *sarcasm*

The fact is that they had enough respect for the government and country to go through that process. And are now quite successful business owners to boot. Yea, the process should be easier, it is extrememly difficult. But until that day when it does get easier, it isn't ok to overlook the laws now.

Would I personally deny them entry? No, probably not. But lumping all illegals into the starving and cold category is ignorant, imo.
