abortion pill?

has anyone here used it? how far along were you? how far along will it work to? Ive heard about it but I dont even know what to google and Im honestly afraid to even try

i did..i was 12 weeks i believe? and you can do it up to 20 i *think*. The cramps and whatnot were killer. I passed HUGE clots(which is normal) and I was laid up on the couch literally all day. But the next day i was completely fine not sore or anything

i had a medical abortion. it was a injection that stippes fetal growth, then two days later I had to go back to have pills put on my cervix that made me start bleeding.
My doctor told me to take some pain killer when I got home because cramping would start. But I try to be as natural as possible so I didnt take his advice and went straight to bed for the day. The cramping was not any worse than my period cramps,I passes the tissue after about 2hours. I was 8 weeks a long .

Here you were only allowed to take it up to 8 or 9 weeks. I took it, I would do that again in a heartbeat. GL.

you can take it till 10 weeks. i was 6weeks some days with mine. it hurt bad for about 30 mins, but after all the tissue passed, it eased up and i was able to go to sleep. just make sure you take the pain meds BEFORE your in pain. sitting on the toilet helps too

oh and here in saskatchewan i believe the cut off is ten weeks, aftee that its a surgical abortion. I would assume its simular all across Canada?

I took the pill when I was 8 weeks along. I passed some huge clots, had some really uncomfortable temperature flashes and pain but was up to normal within 3 days.

So I assume you took the test.

I did that with mine too... I KNEW I was pregnant, was freaking my smurf over it... and was shaking when I was looking at the line. I just knew it.

i had no idea when i was pregnant with rachel. my SO told me to test and i was like ok whatever crazy man.. and there it was. 2 big fat red lines

I was four weeks four days getation(6 weeks 4days lmp). I chose surgical because I didn't want to risk any tissue left in my uterus,which happens a lot with the abortion pill and can make you really sick.

The doctor numbed my cervix and then used a suction-device to empty my uterus.
It hurt like a BITCH but was over very quickly.I bled/spotted for three weeks and went back after six for a follow-up exam.

I did it at 6 weeks. It was very very painful physically and mentally. I would not reccomend it to anyone. I suffered without any pain medication and saw parts of the fetal tissue. There is a high failure rate, I was actually one of them, where the pill didn't work. I bled for 8 weeks after I took the pill. They made me take another one and I had to go thru everything all over again. Very traumatizing. My 2nd abortion (last one) was a surgical one and I was knocked out. Easiet way to do it. It's a little more expensive but sooo much easier.
