Car seat video/info help

I was debating RF Vs FF with a friend and she brought up a video talking about how FF is no different than RF for the over 1 years and 20 pounds. Anyone know anything about this? Something about it being just as safe and the info was done on a wreck where the car was going 100 or over? and both ways being just as safe so there is no need to extend rear face.
