Horrible allergies in toddlers?

So it seems like my boys (1.5 and 3.5) have inherited their daddies horrible allergies. They are miserable. I don't like giving them allergy meds (but I do, don't worry) mostly because they knock them out. All the non drowsy ones seem to be for kids 6 and older. What can I do for them to help them naturally? I've heard that raw local honey can help...anything else?

If you talk to their doctor the non drowsy stuff is okay. They will give you the proper dosages.

My sons been on stuff since 7onths old and my daughter for a year

Children's Zyrtec is under 6 and last 24 hrs. It doesn't knock LO out, but it does make her a bit drowsy. I just give it to her at night. That seems to work best for us. I'm not sure about natural treatments. She's 4, btw.

Raw local honey can help, but it needs to be taken unheated to preserve the natural properties (ie not in a tea). My family hasn't had a single allergy since consuming raw milk from our family cow. But, that may not be an option for everyone.

Herbally, you could try Echinacea and Chamomile. Inhaling steam from a warm Mullein infusion will help clear the nose and throat as well.
