it is similar to an insulin pump. It gives a does of terbutaline every four hours.
terbutaline is an asthma medication that is also used to stop contractions.

i sure hope so i have been in the hospital before for some contractions and they had to stop them...and my baby is a really big baby she is weighing in a pound and a half more than she should be at this point...so today i am asking to be induced...

well they said full term over 9 lbs. and im quite a small person and im scared to have a c-section...

I am at 38 weeks and i can't wait anymore. his head had been down since 35 weels my uterus was already thin.. i can't walk. i can't even get into my car i have to hurt myself to get in.. i called the doctor office to see what they will do for me.. my bottom half feels like it is comign out..

oh wow big baby!!! my sis was 9lbs 1oz and my mom had her natural, some how!! lol good luck!!

My doctor wants to induce me at 39 weeks, if I make it that far (she has confidence that I may not!) so my lil man should be here soon!

I just got back from my doctor's appt. and I'm getting induced next monday (the 12) if I haven't already had him. YEAH!! It seems like there are a lot of us getting induced for one reason or another.

On Monday the 5th i went to the hospital and i was having false labor. i was only dielated to a 1cm. i went to the doctor on thursday the 8th i am dielated to a 2cm. i also asked my doctor if she could induce me and she said yes so i am getting indued on the 13th at 6:00 am unless i get bumbed i will be happy. does it hurt to get indued i never got induded i had my daughter with no drugs and all nautral so.

i had my little man on Sat, i was not dilated or efffaced atall!! But my water broke friday morning and away we went!! labor was long and there were some complications but he is perfect and i am in love! i was due the 11th so have moms that aren't dilating you could be next!!

congrats momma! I hope I am next! lol I am so impatient and uncomfortable, I want my baby so badly! And these annoying irregular contractions are really starting to annoy me! lol
