6 months and had to stop my labour yesterday by tablets

Im 6 month pregnant and on friday i went into hospital because i was in pain and my water was leeking. while i was in hospital my baby boy did a (poo!) inside of me, but not enough to harm me. it was a sign that he was frustrated and he wanted to come out (well thats what the doc's said). but i was given a tablet to stop my labour and thankfully it worked   and my baby boy is fine. so i came home yesterday BUT i was just wondering if because this has happend dose it mean i will have an earlyer labour ???

How do they know he pooped?

Your body may try to start labour again, but you could also go overdue!! it happens

If he pooped, they would have delivered you then and there.

Yeah uh, i went into labor naturaly and was over by two days, She pooped and because of the ammount they put me on pitocin to rush her out..so..if he had actaullly pooped..you'd be holding a baby.

because it came out of me and it was deffinetly baby poo and it didnt come from the right hole if you get what i mean lol dont sound very nice but thats what happend. im just thinking tho if the tablet made him not want to come out now then what happens if he wants to come out again anytime soon ??

Because if the baby poops, and eats it/ breathes it in while still in the mother, it could cause serious infections..and even possibly blindness..Thats what they told me.

Uh, no. If you were leaking meconium stained amniotic fluid, you would be delivering your baby.

Because inhaling it can hurt the baby. My son inhaled meconium before coming out and ended up in nicu. He got pneumonia from it.

I do agree though if they thought he had done that in you they would have delivered you. Most babies do that when they are stressed.

Uhh....because the baby will inhale it and get lung damage and pneumonia. It can be fatal in alot of cases. They would NOT have left her pregnant if they thought the baby pooped in utero.

Then my doctor and the labor and delivery team lied to me. Cuz they said i had ALOT of poop in my fluid and jacked me up on a stupid high amount of pitocin to "rush" her out and avoid section.
