re: "I love you"

Sigh, I've been dating this guy for basically a year and I haven't heard him say it once. Except for when he was drunk one time... I try so hard to not say it to him!

My ex in high school (also my mechanic) was walking me out to my car after we watched a movie at his house, pushes me up against my truck kisses me and the says " you know Ive fallen for you, I love you some much babe" and u kiss him and tell him "well I like you too but I have to get home..." he was not happy....

I told the first boy I ever fell in love with, "I love you." and the next day he broke up with me. lol

Oh my! I hope he wasn't upset.

My story (turned out good, but was so embarrassing at the time):

When hubby and I started 'dating' we weren't serious. One night we had spent the evening with friends and stayed overnight together, we had to wake up the next day to get ready for work (worked at the same place).

We woke up and were cuddling on the couch, well I leaned over to hug him and in my head (or so I though) I was thinking 'I love this man'....um yeah, I accidentally whispered it in his ear. He was like 'Oh really now?!' I tried to play it off....and no, he didn't say it back right then. I was beet red.
