bald spot

My son has this huge bald spot on the back of his head i put him on his stomach as much as i can but when i put him on his back i guess because his hair is thin it wears away easy i was told to use a silk sheet under him ...never got around to that but does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from getting worst??

haha i remember when my baby had that. im pretty sure thats just part of being a baby, he will grow out of the head rubbing in a month or two and the hair will come back

It's totally normal, most babies get it, they get it from moving their head around when they are laying down, or in are seat, or swing. It will grow back pretty soon, I always thought was kinda cute!!

You can put a knit hat (like the ones they put on at the hospital)on them when they lay down it really helps.

Aw my daughter had that really bad too (along with a flat spot!). She is finally getting hair back there now! It will go away.

no.. Nothing you can do, most babies get it, and it's in the back of the head anyways, wont bother any of your pictures

I heard its perfectly normal for babies to get a bald spot, from what I understand its just their bodies way of getting ready for the new mess that will come in, so It'll all grow back eventually =) no worries.
