He won't poop in a bathroom with an automatic flush..lol...but yeah I mean he just does this stuff..then adds on more stuff...so I'm starting to kind of worry....I'll at least bring it up..his pedi is old school, so I think he'd suggest anything before meds.

Most doctors do not want to put a child on meds and this behavior isnt like dangerous or anything-- something that would prompt them to push for medication!

Mention it to your pedi and you'll probably be referred to a Pediatric Psychologist. Sometimes a child goes once a week to just paint a picture and talk with a professional and that alone can decrease their anxiety dramatically!!
Talking with your pedi is definitely your first step!

Yeah sometimes it's hard :/ when I'm in a rush sometimes and Leah refuses to leave the house without having her laces ties perfectly and the seam on her pants completely perfect... I have to just take her to the car and have her scream in the back seat. But seriously sometimes it takes her 30 minutes to feel like she's ready to go. :/ I feel bad but I don't want her to get into the habit of thinking life can stop for stuff like that. 3-4 is such a picky age... Lol

oh and another thing that comes to mind is hes ocd about his hot wheel cars. like he lines them in in a certain order, either by how they match, or color.. and its like god forbid you mess it up he FREAKS out... like they either need to be in a line, or in some kind of shape too lol

Thank you! I will!! It just seems so odd to me b/c he's SO sweet and just normal..then comes time to clean up- lol

I'd make an appointment, it couldn't hurt. Being so distraught over his missing watermelon rind makes me think that it might be a little more than a phase.

No, I wouldn't medicate him either unless the problem interfered with his life profoundly. Different forms of therapy would be more useful.
