beer crockpot chicken

ANybody try this or something similar? I don't have much stuff on hand and stumbled across this recipe where I actually have everything. It's cooking for 5 hours in the crockpot so it should be cooking long enough to burn all the alcohol from what I've read.
If you've had something similar was it any good?

I'll be perfectly honest, I prefer grilled or baked chicken instead of crockpot chicken. I guess I just have bad luck in the crockpot, or I overcook it ><

I would keep a watchful eye and DON'T overcook it.

I do however LOVE beer can chicken.
As for the alcohol I bet the amount is either cooked off or so negligble you don't need to worry bout it.

I usually bake it, but it's all frozen, and I hate using water or microwave to unthaw chicken, just like thawing it in the fridge, and obviously I can't do that in just a few hours lol I love grilled chicken.
